Well, Hello everyone. It has been over a month with my last post. We have been away for a much needed Philippines vacation (long overdue). Our vacation was loaded with fun memories from families and friends. It was so nice to finally able to come home after four years. Thanks to my siblings and my sisters in law for keeping it secret with regards to planning all the activities so our parents wouldn’t know of our homecoming. SURPRISE! I guess, I won’t be able to do it again next time, maybe they have gotten use to it already.
To start off, it was really nice to be back in my home country! We purchased a day arrival in NAIA Terminal 1, which for me I think was a great idea. We arrived around 10:30AM, ours was the only plane that landed at that hour so going through immigration was a breeze. My sister already told me about the porter service in the airport which cost around a dollar per luggage, I think that was practical. I can say, we were out of the airport in less than an hour. And there as we exit NAIA, driving through Roxas Boulevard, it is something you wouldn’t miss the Manila TRAFFIC! I don’t even want to talk about it anymore, so can we skip that please!
I don’t want to make this as one lengthy post with all the activities we did, places we visited and food that we have tried. I will break them down to try and not bore you. But let me say the first food I tried was Eurobake’s Inipit. I think I had 5-6 slices right away.
There were only two things I really didn’t enjoy…it was the traffic and the heat. It was summertime when we were there so there is no need to explain it any further.
