I was searching the web on what recipe I can use for the frozen ground beef I have, and saw something my sister pinned on Pinterest. It is called Korean beef with very minimal ingredients, and it says there on the recipe it was easy to do. So I went ahead and tried it, with a twist. I am not a big fan of ginger but I do find it essential in my cooking every now and then. And as always, I find it interesting experimenting with the recipe and trying something and see what I will come up with. So, I prepared all the ingredients, omitted the ginger on the recipe because I didn’t have one, use calamansi juice/extract instead. I also replace the crushed pepper on the recipe and use a bit of tabasco sauce. And in my mind, I already knew how this dish will taste. It is my version of beef tapa, only I used ground beef instead of using tenderloin or sirloin. So, give it a try. Serve it with fried rice and egg even better. Ground beef tapa…my style.
